Fatboys - tomorrow Saturday 15th Dec

Anyone planning to go tomorrow or too busy Christmas shopping?

Simon (in the Boxster parked next to the Beetle at the October meet)

I mailed Kish and Adrien in the week to say I can't make it, last minute parties with my boys......not sure who is going weather looking crisp and clear....have a good Christmas.....[:D]

and you Des!! Good to meet an old Bish Chall old boy [:D]

they have gritted all the roads down here on the Kent / E. Sussex border - shame they can't fill in all the holes. Not good with M030 even in a Boxster and I've only got 17" wheels 'cos it's a '97 model.

Hi Simon,
Right now I have one other confirmed so if not many others are planning to come then I am tempted to give it a miss as it is an aweful long way for me and I'm flying off to States on Sunday and have still not packed or done any shopping... Fatboys is open so if it is not a long travel then it is a great lunch stopover anyway...

Sadly I won't be able to make it tomorrow as I'm swamped with family commitments on the west-side of London. Hopefully I'll see folks at the upcoming Bond St event next week.

Cheers -

Simon are you an ex-Bishop Challoner....?

I'll be there tomorrow and I know a couple more regulars are hoping to make it. Weather forecast looks nice, if a bit chilly.

Hope for a good turn out [;)]

Cheers, John

Sorry chaps - prior engagement - I'll be in Reading for an annual 944 meet up ....

Save me a fat bastard burger to go with my xmas roast with all the trimmings tomorrow lunchtime !! LOL

Sounds like we'll have to arrange an impromptu meet between Christmas and new year ??

Des - no not an old boy but lived just down the road and had some good friends that went there - we talked about this in Oct.

Very dark and miserable here - looks like it might even rain and under serious pressure to buy my first Christmas present today so regretfully will have to give it a miss after all.

Rick - impromptu meet between Christmas and New Year sounds good.

Well I did go after all and met John so we had a turnout of 2 Boxsters. It was a bit chilly so we sheltered in Fatboys for a hot drink or two. I even treated myself again to a burger in the white crusty roll - the bap shortage in the docklands continues. By about 3 the sky cleared and we enjoyed some winter sunshine. We even had our own little tunnel run under the river heading home! Hope all your shopping etc. went well.

Happy Christmas!

Well done Simon a Brace of Boxsters, presume you had the roofs down....see you in the New Year have a good Christmas.....[:D]

Nice to meet you Simon. Hope for a big turn out (and better weather) on Jan 19th. Would be good to keep this East London meet going [;)]
Cheers, John
