Faulty Roof

Guys
Going to look at an 1998 2.5 tonight roof works manually but not electrically can any one suggest a possible fault .I know difficult to diagnose with out seeing it .

Fuse?
Broken drive at the motor?

Intrigued by the "works manually" comment. To raise the roof manually is a bit of a pain, and means the clamshell and rear of the roof is insecure...
 
What happens when you press the the button does motor, if not start with fuse then i would look at the microswitch on handbreak
 
The roof as you said Mark will not close at the clamshell .The guy is taking it to an indy tomorrow to get a cost of the repair did notice the two winder motors stripped out lying in the boot .Drove ok with the hood in the closed position and the windows drop ok .Will see what the indy say's
