The February Meeting is sheduled for Thursday 8th Feb at the Washbourne Court Hotel.

As you will be aware, because of expected heavy snow, a 'Severe Weather Warning' has been issued for this period.

A decision will be made at 3pm on Thursday regarding cancelling the meeting and posted on this forum by 3:30pm.

If it helps, I work just down the road... The main roads are clear but lots of salt and ice still about. We got sent home early [8|] But as we found most of our cars were stuck in the car park......

If they have not cleared the road to the Hotel, it will be slippy as, and I would think not a great time for big fat 2WD tyres/cars.

Meeting cancelled.
Due to the current conditions, Cotswold roads and the forecast of a heavy frost after dusk We have reluctantly decided to cancel tonight's meeting.
If any of our members damaged their car or more importantly themselves it would be unforgiveable.

See you at Cornbury House (Air Atlantique presentation) next month.

Thanks the warning. I traveled to Portsmouth in my 944 yesterday and on the way back when she was hot and in traffic I had an allarming problem pulling away in 1st. very "juddery". I have had a sinilar problem on another car not a porker when Oil got on the clutch plate. The clutch has done 140Kmiles do you think it's on it's last legs?. it seemed ok today cold, I'll post this on the 944 forum.

Hi Mavis

I had this once on a 3 series BMW. Just as you thought, time for a new clutch plate I'm afraid.
