Feeding wires through to the doors

Is there an easy way to do this, I have looked from the drivers/passenger footwell, round the a pillar etc, but haven't taken off the door card yet....From what i can see when the door is open...it's all a b****y tight squeeze.

As a last resort, I might need to unbolt the door, but that sounds a little drastic!

Alan if you figure out how to feed a wire back up into the car from the door or A pillar area please post as I 'lost' the wire that attaches to the interior light switch in there a few years ago and still haven't found it!

i fitted some leds in my door tops about 8 years ago.
sterted by removing the panel/card, followed by the carpet fitted to to footwell, you can then push the wire through the hole in the door and if wanted inthrough the rubber hose/tube with the other wires.
you have to pull out the gromet first thats in the a frame

.

good luck

I have done this, as well, so that they form the alarm lights. They take the place of the door buttons. In my case, they are high intensity flashing blue (the car is dark blue) - very Essex man, some people have said !

I have also put a bright led above the ignition switch, controlled by the door switch, with a delay - could never get the light in the key to work, so couldn't easily find the ignition in the dark. Now, it is automatically illuminated.
