Feeling flush

Interesting ... I knew that glass rooves were made by a company called Saratoga, but I have never heard of one like that before.

1,100 euros? That's a LOT.

Oli.

I've been looking out for one like that for a long time. Only ever seen them for sale in brown before, but I knew the grey versions existed. Shame he's asking quite so much for it though. At £500 I would seriously consider it.

I suspect it could be relatively easy to make a plastic one, a firm I used for my new rear screen are able to make pretty much anything and the prices are quite reasonable. You can specify some very trick materials with all sorts of coatings (as used by Aston Martin on their race cars and so on), which is what I went for [:D]. Not sure how you'd do the frame but I believe people have removed them from a standard sunroof to fit carbon/fibre glass panels so it might be possible.

Could be a lot of work, but also probably work out cheaper. Personaly it doesn't float my boat, but I've seen how much Saratogas regularly sell on Rennlist for so know there's a strong following.
