Hi All

I'm really starting to feel sorry for myself as i am yet to purchase an air cooled 993, manual . I reaaaaallly want one and cant see much up for sale. I'm after a good honest sensibly priced car if anyone can point me in the right direction. I would rather a C2 but would be over the moon with a nice C4.

I wasted 6 months looking for a 930 turbo only to realise the price of these have gone nuts and the reality is that there's a lot of rubbish out there where the cars need lots of work .

Help ?!?!!

My advice would be keep looking !!
It took me several months and was more than I thought at the outset
But brilliant car and wish I hadn't sold it now [:-]

Here's one....

Not sure what your specifics are... eg manual, air con....

with the warm weather more will sprout out! (it did take awhile for me to find one!)

Porsche Swindon have a white 993 in their showroom, but is for sale privately by one of their customers.

I saw it in their showroom earlier this week and it looked excellent, I am not sure of the asking price though.

When I saw that 993 at Swindon at that price I thought someone's having a good dream. I remember seeing if they wanted mine 3 yrs ago with 54000 miles on, full history with them at time and said it was too old and too high mileage. How times have changed!!

Prices in 2014 seem to have started strong. A step change in expectation of what a 993 is worth to bring it into line with the prices being paid for other aircooled models?

A year ago some of these prices would have seemed too strong but compare to 964, 3.2, 930 these days and not sure they do any more.

Ian.
