Hi,
Just wondered how many ninenineseveners will be going to Goodwood next month?
Will we be entitled to VIP parking I wonder??? [8|]

I intend to go, however, if the weather is very good, I will probably go on my Honda Fireblade. [:D]

Even as a member of the Goodwood Road Racing Club there's only a field outside the circuit allocated for GRRC parking. So the chance of a PCGB area is not great.

Maybe your Region might do a convoy? Would keep the cars together in a car park.

My wife is very keen on going. I had to model for a photoshoot there two years ago and really enjoyed the cars afterwards. Would be great if we could do a collective drive, meet & greet, etc.

I would love to go again this year but having experienced a 5 hour ride there on my Busa a few years ago ( with a mate on my old Blade as it happened ! ) and trundling past the miles of stationary cars queing to get in I'm not so sure about taking the Porsche.

Any advice anyone ?

Yves

go to the revival instead or arrive by helicopter[:D]no way i am going to sit in the car for hours ......

For anyone else going, I have just booked my ticket for Saturday.

Let me know and we can try and hook up during the day. Still not sure if I am going by bike or otherwise though.

Don't forget the club will have the race lorry there, I believe it will be offering members refreshments during the day... so don't forget to take your membership cards.[:)]

Anyone going on the Sunday ?

We have an overnight stop in Southampton planned so just a 30 mile drive to the circuit.

Undecided on whether to take the 997 though, fearful of getting it beached on rough terrain etc !

Yves

I'm at Silverstone on Thursday for the F1 tyre test and then down to Goodwood for the next 3 days. I'm at Porsche Hostility [;)] on Saturday and hoping to have ride around the rally stage in a WRC sometime during the event - all being well []
I'm on 07831 257042 if anyone wants to make contact.
Incidentally I have a single spare ticket for Saturday if you need one.[:)]

Clive

Myself and my lady wife are attending on Saturday - very early am start from the looks of it. Will be going in the beast (997)

If you want to catch up whent here let us know

As the weather is still looking poor I will probably be going by 997 (it feels good to be able to say that [:D]) and therefore also intend to get there early, I will make my final decision on Friday evening.

What about meeting at the Porsche stand / hostility / truck (whatever it is ) for say 10.30?

A half pic of me, as taken by my wife:
