Maurice & Ken, good to meet you at the festival and put faces to names. My neighbour is off to have have his recall work done on his cabriolet before the top blows off!! Thoroughly enjoyed the day but was dissappointed to hear that it won't be at Brands next year due to cost. I hope the club can source another track as a static only display won't get my vote.

Good to put a face to the name at last! Sorry I couldn't get back to the technical display, but we got delayed with other things.

Sad to hear a static display is on the cards for next year, with a move back to a stately home affair. Apparently there is going to be an issue of cost and the club is thinking of investing more into the HQ. The run up planning seems to have caused problems also, which to be fair is fairly evident. Still, maybe it will mean the register can get together a little more as you've commented on and how about another technical display.... Axle stands on the front lawn, anyone?

Regards

Maurice & Ken,

Very enjoyable and educational weekend. The DIY session on Monday afternoon was very useful. I have already checked and found that I need to replace the low speed resistor for the A/C unit and now I now how to do it, I expect I can save pounds.

If I have any criticism of the event then it is the amount of wasted space around all the register parking areas, while there were a great many cars parked outside. Why was the space not used, surely there are two choices either Register or Regeion. By going down the register route there is the chance to meet new people who are outside your usual area.

A great weekend and thanks are due to all who put in so much effort to make it a success.
