FIBREGLASS Targa Roof

Has anybody seen or know anything about the fibreglass replacement roof available from "www.ealgeday.com" selling at $485. for older Targas ?

Hello Tom. I have a Satratoga Hard Top which was imported by someone from America. It fits like a glove and is much better than the original type. Its dark smoked glass. I contacted the company who made it direct to see if I could import a few but they were not interested. I now have a spare roof if anyones interested.

Hi Tom,
I've had a look at that top as well, it does look the business, (and my one doesn't!) It would be nice to know a little more about it though.
Have you seen how much some people have been quoted for reconditioned targa tops, - unbeleiveable!

Hello Gary. The company was Sundial Enterprises. in Redondo Beach California. They used to advertise on ebay.com and can be found with a search of 'sparetop'. Let me know how you get on.

Good luck

Ken

Hi Kenny,

I take it that the spare top is the original folding top? Is it in ok condition, and how much would you be looking for it? My offside dowel/pin has snapped and nobody can fix/replace it locally.

Many thanks

Hello Steve, I paid £500 for the roof 6 months ago and would be looking to reclaim that money back. A cheaper option is going to a Porsche Breaker who usually have some unrepairable roofs and removing a Pin from one of them. Hope this helps.

Hi Ken,

Thanks for the reply. Whereabouts roughly do you live, thinking of viewing the roof?

Steve
