Fifth Gear- 997 bleeps?

Anyone know why when V B-H was hammering the 997S around Anglesey last night it was bleeping at her? Is it something to do with the Chrono?

Sounded exactly like the bleep you get when you set the speed limit warning on the onboard computer. But they were too frequent so someone with a Chrono pack can confirm if the bleep can be set for other limits... or it is possible she was just crossing the limit which was set and then getting back to that speed...

Harsh! But she has put it on a bit...

Someone on another thread (another forum?) said that the car she used doesn't have PASM, even though she was blathering on about it...

Yep, it looked like lowered suspension to me, also helped out of the corners by that trick diff that comes with the sport suspension. That car or a similar one was tested at the same venue by another motoring program (Autodrome on one of the sat channels). That one was much speculated to be on non PASM sport suspension. As for the bleeps, f**k knows!

Was it the "drivers ar5e has exceeded maximum width limit" warning?

I thought it was my widescreen telly making it look slightley wider.!
Mind you I wouldn't mind jumping off by bedroom cabinet in my spiderman outfit to show her a good time [8D]

I must say i did not notice to busy looking at the 997 being hammered by VBH, even if she has put on a little bit she loves the 997, and Tiff thinks it is better than the AM round the track, i think that is good for Porsche, plus it beat the Lotus which was pleasing.

Phil.
