If anyone wishes to join in, can you please let me know as soon as possible. I have to inform the Council tomorrow the number of car parking spaces we require.

Meet at Specialist Cars Malton from 10 a.m. leave for Whitby around 11 - lunch is booked at Trenchers for 1.30 p.m.

Our route will take us across to Pickering, past the North York Moors Railway station to Newton upon Rawcliffe, Cropton, Rosedale Abbey, turn right past the Milburn Arms to Egton Bridge/Glaisdale, bear left on top of moors to Glaisdale/Lealholm. from Lealholm village over the River Esk to junction with A171 (Whitby/Guisborough) turning right towards Whitby (9 miles).

Brief route for those who may get lost using sat nav!

I will print a few copies to hand out on Sunday.

Just hope for good weather.

Regards
Rita & John

Don't be shy John

Just say, your printing some copies of the route for Mr Chappell, we all know is navigational skills are a bit suspect [:D]

see you all Sunday

Steve

Rita/John Any idea what time you will be going through Rosedale, Its just that I want to be off the roads by then[:D][:D][:D]

hi, i have a mate wanting to come, this one even has a porsche, one car one person. thanks, rob.

why don't you just tell it as it is Steve. I don't get embarrassed. Don't worry- every dog has its day[:D]

PS why don't you just sell that car of yours and get yourself something nice instead?

Your good friend,

Chris x

sorry for the last minute, but just got the wifi to work in the hotel.

Is it too late to sign, karen Samuel and me up?

Have included you on my list - always have a couple of extra car parking spaces for late requests.

Rita

John,

Just noticed this so apologies for lateness, Richard (my dad) would like to attend, I will have to check with my wife if she & the kids want to go, although we would probably not be going to Trenchers as she doesn't like fish and chips.

Regards

Paul

Hope to squeeze you in the parking - Trenchers do offer an alternative to fish and chips - their salads are very good especially the fresh crab or prawn.

See you on Sunday

Regards
Rita

Thanks very much for organising, John and Rita, really looking forward to this. Looks like weather will be on our side too.

Note to self - must put clocks forward before we go to bed on Saturday night so it doesn't feel like we are losing an hour when we get up on Sunday morn and more important, that we turn up at the right time at Malton [;)]

Mike & Lisa

Weather forecast for the coast was **** today - I phoned Trenchers at 10 a.m. sunny day no fog - here at Stamford Bridge could not see end of garden. Over in Scarborough later on - again brilliant sunshine and no sign of sea fog at all - very busy on beach and sea front. Remember to take warm jacket wind off sea is a bit cold.

See you all tomorrow.

Regards
Rita & John

What a great day out - fantastic turnout, fabulous weather, stunning scenery, couldn't have been better if it had been the middle of summer. Oh, the fish and chips weren't bad either. Nice way to open up the new season, looking forward to plenty more trips out.

Hope this link to our pics works. Took some video, if it's any good we'll put it on Youtube and post a link.

Well Done Rita & John

Have to agree with everything Lisa & Michael said

Many Thanks

Lorraine & Steve

Another fantastic fish and chip run! You even ordered the sun for us.

Also we can all tell the new version of the "we got stuck behind a tractor" tale !!

Rita and John thank you for organising the event.

Cheers Linda & Tony

Yet another excellent fish and chip run, thanks John and Rita for putting it together. It really makes you realises what a stunning part of the world we live in, that view from the first stop was incredible, despite the misery on a bike.

Who would have thought we would have crossed paths with the TCGB (Tractor Club GB) run out too, must have almost been as many of them as there were of us [:D]

Excellent day out with superb drive and organisation from beginning to end.

John & Rita, many thanks for all your planning, it is much appreciated.

Geoff & daughter Anna

Ditto to all of the above. Great run and weather, although could have been a bit warmer. Must take that route again. it really was nice scenery.
Thanks again to John & Rita.
