Finally found my 911

Hi All,
After much deliberation and multiple viewings I found my first Porsche, a 991 Targa 4 GTS
I was originally looking for a GTS with a sunroof but was blown away by the Targa when I saw it in the showroom.
I had concerns about the feeling of the tyres juddering when on lock on my driveway, but on reading other posts I gather this is normal.
My drive to work has never been so good as the last few weeks.[:)]

Glad to hear your enjoying it & definitely the best everyday car to put a smile on your face, whether nipping to the shops or on a long weekend drive. The GTS looks great in Red so good choice.

Congratulations, I saw there was a new Targa GTS in the network - was that the one? What colour, spec, pictures needed!

In addition to the standard GTS spec;
  • Carmine Red Paintwork
  • LED PDLS+ Headlights in black
  • Keyless Entry&Drive
  • Rear Wiper
  • Bose
I will post some pics once I have worked out how to do it!

Very nice!!! Some lovely touches with the GTS version.

Interesting that you had the juddering when manoeuvring out of your drive. It is indeed common to all the recent 911s as the tyres are so large and as Clive will tell you, the Ackerman principle applies.

Enjoy [:)]
