Finally got my 996

After my previous troubles with dodgy cars (see the 'imported car' thread below) I finally got myself the 996 of my dreams. It's a silver C4 coupe, 1999 T, with 18" turbo alloys, black interior, 3 spoke steering wheel, heated sports seats etc.

I wish I could have afforded to get one from an OPC, but I just couldn't stretch that far. It's a lovely car - had a fantastic drive to see some friends over the weekend - but I have to say my experience with 'independent' dealers hasn't been great. After the debacle with the other dealer, this one was better but still not great. RSJ Sportscars in Slough has a great setup, good selection of cars etc but the guy who owns it is just a bit sharp for my liking. If I tried to ask him a question he tended to get all annoyed and tell me I wasn't trusting enough, but then managed to shaft me over some little things, leaving me with a slightly bad taste in my mouth ('full' tank of petrol that turned out to be about a third, no attachment for the anti-theft wheelbolts, etc). I've asked him to resolve this but have heard nothing back. I have to say I wouldn't recommend him to anyone else. That's got to be a false economy from his point of view I would have thought. He advertises in PP as well.

So in summary FANTASTIC car, shame about the dealer.
