Early days of ownership, but a wealth of help here so far guys, many thanks.
My 'new' S2 can be seen here.

Just had the bonnet, roof and front panel mopped and polished, and it's buffed up brilliantly. Fitted new shiny badge too. Interior is really lovely and in great condition. 160000 miles and it's still a lovely drive.

Hope you enjoy.

J564CYF. Yes it is known. Last owner, Steve, bought it in a fairly sorry state on Ebay. A good clean up and some mechanical TLC has worked wonders and I drove it back from Berwick to the Midlands last month as its new owner.
I has been cherished once though, as there is a PCGB Sticker on the windscreen above the rear view mirror.
Faults...not many. Diff/Gearbox is fairly vocal. Some are...I will just keep my eye on it for now. Service history picked up the first hint of noise back in 2006, however, it has only done 10 000 miles or so in the last 6 years. Motorway miles prior to this I reckon.

Yes, she shines up very nicely. Azure blue (or doom blue as some kind soul on TIPEC remarked) is not metallic, but looks great when polished. Classic grey leather interior is spotless.

good looking beast jonk... enjoy it safe in the knowlage you have the best of the breed.................

Well done. I remember when this car was originally on Ebay and was incredibly surprised it only received a single bid at the starting price! Enjoy it.

Looks great in that colour combo, the interior looks to have worn really well (it is a Porsche !) hope you enjoy it, take this as a positive comment but the rear S2 badge needs placed in it's correct position, a ten minute job.

Need to get the rest polished and waxed now.
