Finding an old paint colour.

This is my first post here, so hello everyone.

I wonder if anyone can help me please? I am trying to track down a Porsche colour dating from between 1977 and 1980. It was an iconic Turbo colour and I have seen several publicity shots of the car in this colour.

I think the colour is called Lind Green Metallic (lind-grün-metallic) but it seems that Porsche has two paints for that period with the same name. One has the code Y1 and the other 275.

Someone on 911uk.com gave me a pointer to a website, but the colour chips there seemed to be nothing like the true colour.

Does anyone have any idea how I can find the correct colour? I will be buying paint for a full respray, so maybe a helpful paint supplier would be able to assist.

Any thoughts please?
