Our region's first meet of 2011 is this coming Sunday, 9th January at the Porsche Centre in Towcester from 13:00.

Former vehicle designer and R10 member Mark Walton has offered to give a talk at our February 2011 meeting which is at the same venue on Sunday 13th. He has a broad interest in Porsches, owning a 996 himself, and will cover the basics of vehicle design and how they relate to Porsche. Particularly relevant as 2011 will see the replacement of the 997 being unveiled sometime this year.

Don't forget this month's meeting offers you all the "opportunity" to win prizes [:)]- just come along wearing (or holding) that 'bizarre'; 'tasteless'; or simply unwelcome Christmas gift from your friends, families or enemies [8D][:D]. The only stipulations are: (i) you are willing to go 'public' and admit you got it; (ii) you got it this last Christmas; and (iii) the judge's (i.e. my) decision is final! [8|]

See you there.

Hi Mike
Happy new to you and all the members, unable to get there this Sunday as were off to Heathrow, taking my youngest daughter Emma (24) who is of to Australia for a year travelling with friends, I can feel the silence in the car on the way home already[:(][:(].
See you all next month.

My apologies for absence, I'm on Cross Country and Football duties.
However I have a 'Get out of Jail Free' card for the February meeting. Have a good meeting.
