First drive of a Porsche Cayman S - I absolutely loved this little car!
And I have to say I was pretty stunned at just how good a 2005 Cayman S actually is. I absolutely loved this little car, could not find much fault with it really. What else is there around £15K which is as good as this car?????/

Little you tube video here if you're interested! - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lay5LSTeDV4

Oh yes...there are still a few who own both. Masher being another one that still has his C2 and now a Cayman R to go with it. We caught up with each other at the recent RS day at Oulton. Along with cheeksyboy and Freedman who bought their 964s. [:)]

I would really like to try an R. Possibly with a view to eventually buying one.. are they much different to the S??

The difference is subtle but the subtle makes all the difference. Think of it in terms of what happens to the way the car drives when you take a bog standard 964 C2 and then upgrade the suspension, fit bucket seats and make it lighter. It's a bit more focused, a bit sharper and feels more special. That's the difference between an S and R. I've described it that way because you'll know exactly what I mean!
