First time caller....997 GTS Centre Lock wheels help....

As the title suggests, need some help with my 997 GTS centre lock wheels. After a disastrous couple of weeks after finding a flat rear tyre, I have finally managed to get my car back on the road with a patch job however the tyres on the car needs to be changed. After some decent research on here, I have decided to go for the Michelin PS4s.

After finally finding a place to change centre lock wheels (hat-tip to BlackBoots in Chesham), the guys (who were very good) wanted me to check whether the spline (??) should be removable like the pictures below; they said all the variants are slightly different but had not seen this before, is this standard for 997 GTS - car goes in tomorrow so any thoughts most welcome.

Thanks very much - doesn’t show a close up of the area when the wheel is off unfortunately.

It’s some years since I had the GTS this is only picture I could find - as it’s so critical and high torque 600Nm I believe if you are at all unsure I’d speak to your local main dealer technician I’ve always found them very wiling to help
