R7 2022 FISH AND CHIPS RUNTHIS EVENT IS NOW FULLY BOOKED. The event is now full and restaurants booked.
When you arrive at the Motorist you will be met by a parking marshal who will direct you to our dedicated parking area. Please do not get mixed up with two other Porsche meetings also going on.We will have the new Restaurant area laid aside for our exclusive use.Delia and I will have tickets for the car park and also Menu confirmation slips for those dining at the Abbey Wharf. We will also be handing out printed route instructions. Due to the large number of cars attending we intend to send the cars off in small groups. Solo drivers will be teamed up with cars that know the route and will be in radio contact. Hopefully you all will have received the routes laid in in Google, kindly sent out by Graham Lovis.There will be a raffle on both days with prizes donated by R7, JCT 600 and The motorist. All proceeds to the Yorkshire Air Ambulance.Car parking at Whitby will be in the Co-op car park, a £5 donation to their charity MIND would be appreciated. As the restaurants have been booked for 2.30pm it would be appreciated if we could depart from the Motorist by 11.00am, this would then allow time for a stop midway and still be in time to take our seats at Trenchers and Abbey Wharf.We have now sent E mails to all entrants who will be dining at the Abbey Wharf Restaurant on both dates. Please check your junk e mail account. We need the deposit and confirmation of what people want to eat no later than the 28th March.
Hopefully after two years of chaos, we will be able to have the 2022 FISH AND CHIP RUN as a normal event.
There will be two events, one on Sunday 3rd April 2022 and one on Wednesday 6th April.
We will be starting from the Motorist at Sherburn in Elmet. LS256JE.
Both runs will start with a meeting at the Motorist at 10:00am. The Blue Train Café will be open for catering.
We aim to depart at 11:00am.
There will be two routes of approx. 100 miles each with suggested midway stops for refreshments. These routes have been revised since last year.
We wish to run a raffle on both days in aid of the Yorkshire Air Ambulance.
We now have secured dedicated parking at the Co-op in Whitby for both dates. This will be £5 per car for the Co-op's current charity MIND.
There are 30 places booked for 14:30 at TRENCHERS on both dates.

They will require a small deposit and and a confirmed food order 5 days prior to the event. Abbey Wharf Restaurant is a venue we have used before is also Dog Friendly so any one with Canine Navigators should not have a problem.[/style]
