Fitcamx Dashcam

Got my new 992 Targa 4S last week to replace my Boxster. The Boxster had a Blackvue dashcam, but I see the Fitcamx fits onto the rain sensor behind the rear view mirror. Thus it appears to wire has to be led around the top and sides of the windscreen.
Has anyone fitted a Fitcamx dashcam, and if so was it easy to fit and does it give a good quality video?

I’m no Dashcam expert but I recently had the Porsche dash cam fitted to my 992 GTS and it works well, has good functionality and is discreet.

I have the Porsche dashcam fitted, but they are expensive……

This FitcamX looks a very neat installation, but still needs care to fit yourself. Interested to hear more about them.
