Fitting an extra power outlet into my 987....

Hi there. I have a 2006 Boxster S. As much as I love the car, I could really do with another power outlet in the cockpit. You could order one I believe, that was situated in the footwell on the passenger side (I have a RHD). My question is, if I can find a genuine one, how best do I wire it in? Is the wiring already there or do I have to take a tap from behind the dash?
Any help gratefully received.

That's odd. My car has the socket fitted in the passenger footwell. Suspect the wiring will be there. Maybe have a look? The small carpet panel is held on with only one torx screw buried in the deep pile
