Fitting Bridge Spoiler

Can anyone tell me how easy it is to convert from the rubber to the bridge spoiler?
Seen one on e-bay....

.... but am not convinced that all the necessary parts are there. Doesn't the bridge fit onto what looks like a smaller version of the rubber spoiler?
Any advice would be appreciated as this looks like a good price if all the bits are included.

That looks like all the bits to replace a standard bridge spoiler at a bargain price - they are around £1000 from an OPC. It says in the ad that modifications are required to fit it to a rubber spoilered car.
Bridge spoiler cars have a lower section but it is metal and appears to be there.

Not too sure. Posted pic of mine (which was already on car) to give you some idea.
I think that you have to replace all the bits as they have different hole locations etc. Someone else better informed than myself will I'm sure will tell you. But I think the answer is, you do need all the appropriate bits.
Take a look at some of the suppliers to get some idea if all the bits are there, also ask the seller a question.

Sorry!
Forgot pic in last post.

Just the look I want.
Not too sure myself about everything being there. I think there is at least one larger piece missing.

Reply from seller as follows:

The spoiler is used. taken from a 92 944s2. Rear window was broken. At the time it was easier just to replace complete hatch. the brackets are with the spoiler but would have to be atttached to the frame, Originaly they were welded. I did not like the idea of welding close to the glass (glass is bonded in). New larger brackets could possibly be attached by clamping or bonding.

I think it's all there. As it happens I have a brand new digicam and a car outside with most of its bridge spoiler removed, so here's a pic showing how different the hatch is.

BTW Tony none of it is metal - all fibreglass, trust me, mine broke...

Do you want me to delete this post Ian (now that all of us spoilerless 944 owners have had our attention drawn to it) [;)]

You would need the glass from a late S2, 951, or 968 that originally came with the bridge spoiler to make it work on your car. It will not directly bolt on to your hatch as the holes in the glass are located in different areas.

You can make that work with those pieces if you hire a competent body shop to do a custom install. This would entail removing the outside studs on the wing and moving them to a slightly different location to line up with the holes in your 944 hatch glass.

I hope that helps somewhat......
