Fitting new wastgate

I'm fitting a Tial wastegate, can someone confirm that I'm fitting it the right way round, I'm sure I've read that it plumbs in the opposite way to the OE one. I'm going to fit it in single port mode at the moment so am I correct that the feed is to the side nipple.

Old wastegate before cleaning.

Pleased to help

In single port mode, I confirm the control hose must be plugged to the side nipple.

In case you have not installed the new wastegate yet, I suggest removing the 4 bolts from the inlet pipe to the adapter, as I am quite sure it will be impossible to install the complete assembly as pictured in your post if the rest of the exhaust is still on the car.
That little elbow actually comes on as the latest part when putting it all back together.
