Five year Warranty

Have Porsche been taken over by Hyundai? [;)]
I assume this is offered by Porsche Cars GB and therefore all PC's will have this scheme not just Reading.

The servicing guys at Reading OPC told me a few months ago that the new gen2 cars never seem to go wrong and as a result there has been a huge reduction in warranty work on the new cars. Perhaps this is the result?!

Like all things in life, it will surely come at an increase in price reflected on the sales sticker. Nothing wrong with that as it would for the first time stop the arguments with the OPC on little bits and pieces which you would expect to fall under warranty anyway.

That would seal it for me to sign up for a new Turbo, if it was true of course.

Not if you live here...............
