Flag Mirror repair question

Hi All,

does anyone know how the flag mirrors on a 944 come apart, preferably without removing it from the car. I've noticed today that the glass in the drivers side mirror seems loose at the top and when trying the electric adjust it doesn't move the mirror up/down.
Got a feeling the glass mount may have come off the motor mount.

Cheers in advance,

Norm

fiddly buggers! heres a photo of the back of a late model flag mirror glass;

The little plastic pushrods can sometimes pop their ball joints (happened on mine) and are easy to pop back on.
The mirror is a bu**er to remove and you're never quite sure it is back on properly...

Finally managed to get the mirror off without breaking it ( fiddly bl**dy job ) and discovered that the ball joint end of the plastic rack which drives the mirror up and down has broken off [:mad:] , tried a little bit of araldite but after 2 ins/outs it broke off again [8|]

I've emailed a member who had 2 mirrors for sale in the sales section back in Feb this year, just hoping he still has them !

If anyone out there has a mirror motor they don't need ( I'm assuming I could use either side ).[;)]......................
