Ok its Christmas eve, wifes at work and I go to get the boxster out to pick up the presents, trouble is Its not been started for the last two weeks and I find the battery flat.
No worries, get a 12v battery jump the fuse box to get under the bonnet and try to jump start her, No that didn't work, jump battery possibly not enough power, ah well its getting on so remover the battery and lets put it on charge overnight,
NO
When I disconnect the battery the siren alarm keeps going off and cannot be stopped till the battery is re connected and and the alarm stopped via the key.
According to the Manuel disconnecting the battery should turn off the alarm but it doesn't.
I've also taken out the alarm siren fuse from the fuse box but it still sounds when the battery disconnected.
So, how do I charge the battery with the battery disconnected when I can't disconnect the battery without the alarm continually sounding ????

Help please.
