Flat battery

in your fuse box in the car by your right leg there is a big red pin you pull out to put power into your system, you need to get a live on this and an earth on the checkstrap bracket on the a pillar the metal part. this should give you some power to open the bonnet, if not you have an emergency pull cord which is hidden . should tell you where in your manual as i don't want to post it.
 
you can try it but it may not work , you may need either a booster pack or someone with some jump leads if you can get near enough
 
Hi, - HELP - I have a 2001 Boxster S, and I have a very flat battery ( ignition left on!!) how do I get in to the bonnet to charge the battery, as the switch is electric of course. Thanks for any help you can give me

With a BMW my father owned you had to open the boot with the key and then connect up a battery pack to the boots courtesy light, then you could unlock the doors...
