I had to share this with you: - due to a combination of work (abroad) and weather, my bride and joy has been under wraps since late December.

So on Wednesday when I had a free day all to myself, took her out of hibernation and was just amazed at what I found.
She started first time on the key (has a battery trickler), oil was spot on the level and still spotlessly clean, even the tyre pressures were on the mark - drove flaultlessly from the word go for around 100 miles and I still can't wipe the grin off my face.

These cars are awesome, pure class

[;)] catch up with you soon. It's amazing how reliable these carsare considering how we thrash them anyway mines out of hibernation too, I've just washed the red peril before the hose pipe ban comes in and waxed it too, looks awesome might go to the Ace on Monday.

Ah well. I failed to use a trickle charger, tried to start her up, drained the battery, the alarm remotes stopped talking to the alarm and I was stuffed until I found someone who had a clue about Clifford Alarms. All fine now.

Mines obviously more highly strung than yours!

My baby was woken from her sleep just over a month ago.....
The battery had been disconnected, so connected it back up again, she started on the button... yippee.

bit of a blip last weekend with a flat battery, but other than that, she's spot on.
not bad for a 17 year old car[:)]

I had every intention of resting my baby but......I just couldnt do it! Now I've got to clean all the crud from the underside.

Nicola, flat battery tut tut, could that be to much time spend on the "THE forum game to play, all for a bit of fun!" as opposed to actually driving ya beauty, over 1k hits I see[;)].........I rest my case ya onar!

All I can say is "And may the porsche be with you"...enjoy

I think she was sulking because the previous 2 weekends she had been out in the snow.... Left home on 2 nice dry days and look what happened.....
