Flying Afternoon / Evening - Humberside Airport

Hi All,
Sorry for the delay on this one, as I've mentioned to some people we've had a security problem with this event which has unfortunately stopped us from getting into the Air Traffic Control Centre. Anyway, we are still going up for some flying for those that are interested followed by a bar meal at the Whistle and Flute in Barnetby.
Date - Wednesday 12th May, the plan is to meet at the flying club from 3pm, we have a PA32RT for the afternoon / evening, to those not in the know this is an English Piper Lance single engined six seater, with retractable undercarriage, a constant speed propeller and 300BHP Turbo charged engine !!! We will be taking up groups for flights around the area, probably up to the Humber Bridge and vicinity, and last in the region of 20 / 25 minutes ish. The cost should be no more than £30 each. The airport closes for flying at 8-15pm, so if you arrive late and we have a large group waiting you might be disappointed. I appreciate that 3pm is a little early for most, but the earlier the better to get everybody through.

( Note for those with private pilots licenses from Steve - For Porsche club members who have shown an interest in coming along with private pilots licences, Sunil, Barry and Peter this aeroplane is very advanced so they will not have flown one previously. However I am a qualified commercial pilot which commercial instructors rating so they will all be able to fly the Lance and book the time as P/UT, pilot under training.)

For those whishing to eat afterwards, I need numbers so I can book food, so if you could let me know.

For directions and meeting details please e-mail me.

Due to the changes of plans etc, could people re-confirm their interest (with the exception of Barry Roe & Peter Wykes - unless you've changed your mind)

Once again, sorry for the changes in plans, I hope people will find this event a little diferent and interesting.

cheers for now,
