Flying Trim!!!!

Had my "new" 996 turbo MY 2003 delivered late last night (first porsche ever)- went out in it for the first time this morning - crack of dawn - before the wife and kids were awake - oh my god!!!!!!!! had an E46 M3 up till now - though that was fast but I am truly amazed by the performance of this car........................BUT

Really pi##ed off by the fact that a piece of the trim came flying off and dissapeared off into the ether while I was accelerating away on a dual carriageway barely five minutes after I had set off! it was the little silver disc that covers the jet on the headlamp washers. Went back to look for it but short of commiting suicide running across to the central reservation - couldnt see it. So rang OPC in Wilmslow - they wanted to charge me £60 to supply and fit and couldnt do it till next Tuesday

It looks so awful without it ended up driving up there and buying one for twenty odd quid and fitting it myself on the front of their showroom forecourt - got to be quick to catch that b#####rd jet when it comes out

Does trim fly off all the time or am I just unlucky?
