Follow on to suspension set-up

Ive noticed that the cup cars of the era tended to be a bit lower than road registered RS's....is this the case?

If so has anyone actually run their car lower and found a benefit?

Im not sure what adjustments to make with regards to dampers etc has anyone any ideas? The car spends most of its time on the track and occasionally takes my to work[8D]

Ive thought about contacting Manthey Racing to found out what set-ups they would recommend but wanted to ask you guys first.

harder springs on a cup car,, Rs suspension is fully adjustable, depending on the bias of your use....if you ask one of the specialists for a semi track/road set up the car does come back quite a bit lower.
My own car doesn't look that different from a cup car in profile, slightly more compliant on the road due to softer springs.
