Following Trips to Spain - Oil Leak

I had the best drive ever with 3,000 miles in two weeks driving to the south of Spain.

The only problem I had was that I didn't realise how much oil in this long journey the car would use. I had taken some spare Castrol Magnatex 10/40 but could only get 5/30 in Spain to top up. Since I have got back the 5/30 seems to be seeping out of the engine. As well as making a mess of of the underside of the car, the driveway isn't looking too good either.

The car will be booked in for a service shortly, will an oil change stop the leak or could this lead to some more server damage?

One thing I have noticed is that the oil pressure is still very healthy, so leads me to believe the oil is just too weak for these older engines and seeping out.

I had this after a long drive to and from Switzerland - it was the small oil filter slackening off. Half a turn cured it.
