Following Uwe Alzen's ex-Cup car around Brands GP

I'm starting to get the hang of YouTube! Here is some footage from last year at my first time driving the full Brands GP following Tomas J's mint ex-Cup car of Uwe Alzen fame. There's a nice little shimmy around the 2:35 min mark...

Camera car was my own running regular road tyres giving the car a shake down with the new suspension fitted.

Enjoy [:)]

Nice work !
But must say, he should have been much quicker in that car ?!
(he did look to have a few moments with the rear though ?)

Good Vid, Thomas hasn't had the car that long. Give him a chance!
Quite a fierce diff in that one, it would take a while to master the car, then I am sure he will be very quick [;)]

That was his first ever drive in it, on manky tires and does nt know BHatch , i was in the little orange car leading him round , still remember his antics at Surtees and subsequently i backed off ..........................has diff settings now , might not be so easy to catch now !

Indeed, it was Tomas' first ever outing in that car after he picked it up I believe. Most certainly he is probably much quicker in it now, but what a fabulous machine. [:)]

Nice vid again Adrien...you do come across very smooooth.

Always thought Brands Indy looked very small and tight but this is the first time I've seen good footage of the GP track - looks great, think I need to add to my list!

Jason Club/Indy circuit really quite cramped for 911 when a good number out; GP circuit as good as it gets , fast straights with corners to carry speed through out into the countryside and back again..........................

Couldn't agree more Vic. Apart from Oulton, Brands GP is my fave in the UK. Deffo worth doing before they shut it completely [&o] And Mel, when you getting that white sled out?!

got settled into watch some loops of the indie circuit only to find us going off into the countryside...Brands GP looks like a great circuit.

I'm with Jason...one to add to the list of to do's.

Brands GP amongst my top three UK faves.

The white sled out next Tue to the Ace...........maybe.....

Hi

I keep getting a message that says "Hello, you either have JavaScript turned off or an old version of Macromedia's Flash Player". I have installed a current version of flash player, can anyone tell me how to turn the Javascript on?

Thanks

Goodness, this thread is all pervading ..........I was even DREAMING about driving around Brands last night, but..........car wasn't pulling in fifth, couldn't manage over 120[:(], like those dreams where you try to run but can't, there were chairs on the track warning of loose manhole covers (eek!!) and Timbo & Robin C (must have read the Rance PH thread!!) in a V8 Beemer(!!!) told me off for overtaking on the wrong side coz I had missed the briefing.......[&:]
