Haven't seen or heard of this article before, just stumbled on it but interesting reading.

Has anyone on here seen him on track? Maybe he should come along to a dyno day.

See we are not sado's, even famous footballers (well sort of famous) drive and fettle 944 pork.

He, and his car was featured in 911Porsche world a few years ago....
Never heard of him since...

He was using it at Silverstone a couple of years back, it certainly looked like a nice bit of kit. The main thing I remember though was that it had quite massive roll through corners, I really didn't look like the suspension was up to the grip/power but then he wasn't hanging around. There was an article in 911&PW about the car a while back too (edited to add Dave beat me to it).

Seen him a few times at the track, a really nice guy. IIRC he replaced the suspension a couple of years ago with something very expensive (like Ohlins) and we were telling him that KW is better and cheaper [:D] It was built and maintained by Ray Northway in Reading

It's a blummin fast car though and he drives it like he just stole it [;)]

I've seen this car at Northway's a couple of years back when I used to have my car serviced there. I remember talking with the mechanic about it as he had stacked the Turbo and bought the S2 only to turbo that and the guy was a bit baffled why he didn't start with another Turbo to begin with to take advantage of the uprated suspension and brakes etc. He did say it was quite an interesting project though but I reckon yours has taken that a few steps further anyway Paul and I am not sure if he was using the 16V head or not.
