I bought this 944 as a non runner about 2 years ago with a view to repairing it whilst teaching myself some mechanical skills along the way. Having got it through its MOT in May 2011 I'm afraid to say I lost interest (already had another 944) and its been sat unused ever since. The car is currently a non runner due to a failed starter motor although i have bought a 2nd hand replacement which is due to be delivered on Monday (8th Feb) . It's covered 111,000 miles and I have MOT certificates dating back to 1995 however the rest of its history has been lost over the years. The sills are solid but there is some bubbling on the lower wheel arches and just above the rear "944" badge. Due to a dispute about having the car declared SORN in the private car park for my flat I now need to get it moved on asap before it is forcibly removed [:(]. I may still yet get it through another MOT but as time is against me I'm selling it as spares or repairs and looking for around £700 but open to sensible offers. The car is located in Aberdeen so its a bit far out the way for most people but hopefully it will find a new home. Please PM for further details .
