Thanks for the figures John. I don't really understand though [] ; does this mean the 968 ones are a compatible/desirable fit for my car?

Subject to what you have currently then potentialy yes.

I upgraded from 88 Turbo spec to 968CS and have been very happy with the swap - Beaky seems a little more planted in the dry but you do have to be more carefull in the wet.

The swap is a straight exchange although you must also swap all the bushes the roll bar passes through (obviously).

From a feel point of view I'm not sure if you would notice stepping up 1mm, the majority of the improvement would probably be through having new bushes.

I think your questions have all been answered...

the bars came off a 93 ,968
They are a-ok.. obviously the bushes are used but seem ok......

They would be a good upgrade for a standard non-turbo car....

A lot will depend on how your car feels currently.

Front might be worth going for as it is the same as the M030 option. It would apear that the rear 968 bar could be lighter than your current bar.

How does your car handle at the moment? A stiffer front will reduce oversteer but increase understeer, a stiffer back increase oversteer but reduce understeer.

Obviously the pair work well enough together on a 968 but could be influenced by different spring and damper rates on the Turbo.

Is any body interested???
