Yours is a truly beautiful car. Sorry to hear you are parting company - somebody will be very lucky indeed!
 
Thankyou Brian, that very nice of you to say that. Not had one call so far, so we may not part for a while yet.
 
Shame it's not a tip with A/c - the dreaded temptation would have been at me! It's the one car that would tempt me to part with my tip coupe.

I echo brians comments,
I owned one just like yours for a good 4 years.
I had done LOTS to it, maintenance wise..+ it was in great shape..
BUT,,,
It took me around 12 months of advertising to sell it...[8|][8|][8|][8|]
That was 2 years ago...
I hope yours goes to new home sooner than that...
 
Chris, I happen to have a tiptronic 968 Cabriolet, 89,000 miles, (no aircon though), which I am thinking about selling if you were interested. Tahoe Blue, light grey inside, piped leather, 1993. Lots spent. Contact me on 07771 998496 if you are interested. Owned for 6 years.
 
Thanks for the offer Pamela - but we really would want Aircon - even looked at having Porsche aircon retrofitted by OPC where we bought the 968 - they quoted about £9k!!

Seem to be lots of 968's hitting the market at the moment - there's one on 968UK that I'm watching with great interest, it's quite similar to mine but in almost concourse condition - asking price £13700.

He lives very close to my office in Bollington. Then there's Neil who lives a stone's throw away with a black 968 (as well as a load of other Porsche kit). Simon's car really is very nice.
 
No worries Chris - hope you get one - there do seem some nice ones around at the moment. I guess I might just hang on to mine for now - trouble is you do get very attached to them, so I can't say I've actually made a lot of effort to sell it really! Thanks for your reply anyway. Pamela.
