For Sale - White 928 S4 in Paisley

The TVR at Avuss is meant to be Rosso Red, more like Barbie Pink! It looses some of it's rugby club image in that colour.[:D][:D]

I'm too old for a 911 cab.

Bill

And they have - it's still there but down to £8k. Still sounds a lot, especially with the Speedlines so ropey, but I wouldn't mind the front callipers...........

I used to do some bodywork for Avvus many moons ago, John is a sound guy, wouldnt deliberately sell you a 'pup', unlike some dodgy traders.
I will admit though, their cars can be a bit pricey, but are normally well presented and a genuine article.
I still see them now and again and could possibly get a 'trade deal' if anyone is interested.(never go by the window price![;)])

Incidentally, they use Owen Ferry for all their mechanical work and the guy is a true genius, Specialises in Porsche/Merc/VAG, cant recommend the guy highly enough, and hes a LOT cheaper than the dealer, but still the same meticulously high standards.

Andy.

Owen Ferry automotive, Murray Business park , Paisley 0141 848 5773 ,(funnily Avuss is 0141 848 5775)
He knows his "onions" when it comes to german cars[:)]

ORIGINAL: Paul Fraser

Never heard of him on any of the previous recommendations lists, where is he out of curiosity?
He's away round the back behind Avuss, off Greenhill Road. If you can get to him off Murray Street that'll be a bit easier. And yes, they do spell Avuss like that! I asked John why it wasn't Avus (as in Berlin) and got some story about copyright. I used to drive the Avus track years ago but only because the two long straights are part of the autobahn that comes into the city from Hannover via the old Checkpoint Bravo.

I considered getting OF to sort out my brake callipers last year but finally had them done at EMC, partly because they had a pair of fronts and partly because I didn't know how good OF was. I think someone said he's ex-OPC and therefore knows his stuff. Does anyone know if that's right? Paisley would be handier than Shotts for the bigger jobs I can't do.
