Forgive Me Fen

At least it's a wagon and it's the right colour, and they do look like SEATs from the front these days. Is there an element of company car in there?

Black wagon? But of course!

4-doors and / or blue mica are uber chavtastic [] [;)]

Not company car ~ with the C02 ratings and mpg it's a nonsensical option. My decision may have been swayed by the fact I don't now pay for my fuel though..... [8D]

I figured there had to be something in there to compensate for going from 47mpg to 4.7mpg. In all seriousness I would never have another one, but I bet that is better than the cruddy "classic" version. And at least it has a turbo.

Still running it in of course, but 28.5mpg on the 1st tank. Pleasant surpruse given that it's a tight new engine (particularly given that the 2.5T is supposed to be even thirstier than the old 2.0T).

Surely it's not physically possible to use more fuel than the 2.0T Impreza engine? I mean there has to come a point where weight of fuel burned to move the vehicle exceeds the weight of fuel it can move, hence it would run out of petrol before it got moving.

Give us a call when its run in and I'll be able to suggest someone to rebuild the engine for you because it will be overdue a bearing failure by then (going on the service schedule on the old car, 500miles change oil, 1000miles change crank bearings, 5000miles full rebuild)[:D]

Sorry only kidding due to bad experiences. It does look v.nice.
