This is an excellent post and should be mandatory for ALL Regions and Registers stuck right at the Top of each appropriate Forum....

Would members of the region be up for a region track day. We are fortunate to have great circuit in the region afterall.

simple economics have usually put paid to this idea. i.e. not enough interest! And the club organises at least one track day at Brands already which is open to Kent members to attend ! (and they do ). The last few days organised via the club, have i think it would be fair to say had a poor take up. Price possibly being a factor. From memory the last club day was 240 quid. I know many consider that paying an extra 150 or so gets them a drive on the GP circuit and so many opt to do that instead of the club day. Add that to the fact that the indy cct can be had via MSV for about 180 quid and you maybe can see where this is heading!

I am not trying to say that the club days are expensive as you have to weight up numbers and the company you will be keeping whilst on track. Just trying to put things into perspective .
