[FONT=calibri"]A number of R18 members are attending this event. PCGB have a large presence and it would be good to meet up over the weekend at the PCGB Display area

[FONT=calibri"]25[FONT=calibri"]26^nd August Sunday – Supercar Sunday – Mitton Hall Hotel near Whalley/Clitheroe.

[FONT=calibri"]This month Mitton Hall are providing a BBQ starting at 11.15 instead of the breakfast meeting. Arrive by 10.30 latest if you want to get a place on the car park

[FONT=calibri"]4142^th August (Sunday) German Classics Car Show – Haigh Hall, Wigan
[FONT=calibri"]
[FONT=calibri"]R18 will as usual be having a display at this event. Entry is by pre-ordered tickets, so if you would liketo attend this event please e-mail me by 29^th July LATEST, so I can arrange tickets. I have booked a small display are, n but if we need more I will need to know how many will be attending. Bring your own picnic this year, or you can purchase German themed food in the display area or from Haigh Hall café.

[FONT=calibri"]6566^th—16^th August – PCGB National Event – Althorp Hall
[FONT=calibri"]
[FONT=calibri"]A good number of R18 members are attending this event. Sue & Mac are organising the Regional, Display Register, and Carrera Displays. Limited parking is available on these displays and you will need the appropriate entry ticket to have your car here. If not you will only be able to park in the general Porsche parking area.

[FONT=calibri"]8384^th August (Wed) Monthly Meeting - NOT AT GARSTANG GC. Kirkby Lonsdale MC ‘Car Park Concours’- Heaves Hotel, Levens, near Kendal.

[FONT=calibri"]As usual we have been invited to this friendly KLMC event. There are lots of classes to enter, and competitors judge each other cars. You can enter more than one class and for cars of different ages, so the newer cars can compete with each other. I will be putting up a trophy for the "Best Porsche”. Hot food is available prior to prize giving. Arrive no later than 19.00 hours to enter

[FONT=calibri"]101102^rd August (Sunday) Preston Sports & Supercar Club "Breakfast at Phantom Winger”

[FONT=calibri"]This is an informal gathering of local sports and supercars at the Phantom Winger, Fullwood. This venue is next to the M6/M55 exit, next to the IBIS ( or Holiday Inn Hotel). Arrive from 9.00 and stay t until lunchtime. Breakfast a, drinks and lunch are available in the Phantom Winger.

[FONT=calibri"]This is a classic race meeting over the Bank Holiday. There is an entry ticket deal ( £10 per car for 1-3 days) ) which has been arranged by Allan Crosby, from Region 5. [FONT=calibri"]I note from R5 newsletter that they are planning a run to the Lakes on Sunday 20tyh September. I will contact Allan Crosby to see if we can join them., and get back to you.

[FONT=calibri"]Sue & Mac are starting to plan Christmas lunch and the MEGA Hamper Raffle, as Sue is due to have an operation in September, so we will be in touch straight after the Althorp event, to start planning.
