[FONT=calibri"]Our monthly meeting on Wednesday 15th February at Garstang Golf Club will have John Bradshaw, Managing Director, Road & Race Restorations ltd, talking about the restoration work his company a carried out on Porsche Cars 924 GTP, which you will have read about in several magazines. He will also be talking about the bodywork restoration they undertook on Porsche Centre, Bolton’s entry into the national Porsche Centre Concours.[FONT=verdana,geneva"]

We make a special effort to welcome new members to this annual event where you can meet other ‘newbies’ as well as regular R18 members. Our speaker wll be R18 member and international photographer Sean Conboy, who will be telling us about his recent photoshoots at Jaguar and Hyundai. [FONT=calibri"]The major car show this year is the Cumbria International Motor Show on Sunday 14th May at Westmorland Showground, Crooklands, near Kendal. We have reserved space for 100 porsches on our display, which will also include the large mobile display unit from Porsche Cars GB, PCGB marquee and Club Shop, Porsche Centre Kendal will be having a display with us and we will be joined by 9-Apart, Swissvax and Road and race Restorations who will all be bringing cars along. [FONT=calibri"]Our main event "Porkers in the Trough VIII” will be running on Sunday 9th July and places are quickly booking up. So far we have 45 booked out of a maximum of entry of 85.
