The next monthly meeting on Wednesday 21st August has two options.

We have again been invited to Kirkby Lonsdale MC Concours at Heaves Hotel, Levens Nr Kendal. Try to be there by 18.30/19.00. There are many classes as well as a prize for the best Porsche. It is a chance for Lancashire & Cumbria members to get together

For those not going to Heaves Hotel, there will be no room booked at Garstang GC, but some members are planning to have bar snack/meal and drinks will be available in the Bradbeer Bar.

I am sure you will have by now booked your FREE tickets for Oulton Park Gold Cup meeting over the weekend of 24-26th August where, as well as the racing and Porsche Parade Laps, Region 5 will be holding their concours. See there section on the PCGB Forum for more info

Also on Sunday 25th will be Ormskirk Motorfest. which is a free to watch event with parade laps by a variety of cars, including a some F1 cars, through the streets of Ormskirk. Google "Ormskirk Motorfest" for more info.

3rd September "" Social meeting "" Stoneybeck Inn, Penrith

On Sunday 8th September Mike Plank has arranged a drive and lunch, starting form the Bellflower, on the A6 at Nateby,, near Garstang. Meet at 9.30. Contact Mike on 01253 733872, or maplank@sky.com to help Mike make arrangements for lunch.

September's monthly meeting on Wednesday 18th at Garstang GC again will be a noggin and natter night with no speaker.

I'm thinking of giving mine a polish so there maybe some competition for that 'Best Porsche' award.

If nothing else there is always the hotpot - (Note to self - eat beforehand)

For anybody else going to Heaves Hotel tomorrow, Dean and I will be passing through M6 Forton Services at 545pm with a view to a quick pub tea at the Gilpin Bridge Inn before attending the concours. All are welcome to join us at either venue.

In his dreams!

Now had Rob had said 'will be passing M6 Forton Services at 545pm', that would have meant two things, one he has very regular bowel movements, and two a visit to a proctologist would probably be on the cards.

Cheers,
