Forum suspension

Hi all,

You'll have seen the announcement about the new website and forum coming online next week, but if not:

See here

No-one can be certain how long the forum will be down, but it will be back up and running as soon as possible.

The user names and passwords will be carried across, but it's worth ensuring you know your details in case you need to enter them again.

See you on the other side! [&:]

The favoured suspension on this forum seems to be KWv3, but I think the cut-and-shut Koni's are an excellent bet. It's been discussed on here quite a lot recently - here are some threads;

Don't forget to have the geo done at the same time as that is every bit as important as good hardware.

A suspension refresh on my S2 improved it immeasurably.

However the suspension refresh on this forum doesn't seem to have had quite such a dramatic effect. What happened?

See the Banner Notice on the Forum Home Page for the explanation [:)]
Basically, we had some last minute snafus with the forum part of the new website, and rather than hold the whole thing up longer, we decided to launch the new Website (go see it - it's great!) at www.porscheclubgb.com , and keep the "old" foum running a little longer whilst we iron out the wrinkles on the new one.

Ah, thanks, that's a helpful explanation. I never go to the front page of the forum (I have the 944 section bookmarked and come straight here) so didn't see the notice.

So, it was the 'rollback procedure', eh? Brave (and usually correct) decision to make. I had too many years as an IT PM and ProgDir not to have seen a few of them. Is there a date for a second attempt at Forum2.0?
