[FONT=calibri"]10th July "Porkers in the Trough” This is our premier even and it was booked up many weeks ago, and a reserve list drawn up. We have 90 Porsches taking par, leaving Garstang Golf Club at 10.00 to drive through the Trough of Bowland to arrive at Astley Hall, Chorley around lunchtime. As large crowds are expected I suggest you bring along a picnic. The café is a reasonable size but may not be able to fully cope with numbers expected. If you are not entered to porkers and would like to come along and help with marshalling etc, please contact Sue & Mac Mcleod, (tel 01253 592755, [FONT=verdana, geneva"]

[FONT=calibri"]29th – 31st July – Silverstone Classic Race Meeting and PCGB national Event. A large number of R18 members are attending this event. I understand over 950 Porsches have booked to go on the PCGB display. You need to get to the circuit early, particularly on the Saturday. If you haven’t been to Silverstone Classic before you will be very surprised at the size and the variety of things going on all weekend. These are in addition n to the PCGB activities which have been published in Porsche Post. Please let me know if you are going and on what day and we can perhaps arrange a R18 meet up.
