Found a 997 hardtop

I know we are at the beginning of hopefully a lovely hot summer, but I thought this would be a good time to look for a hardtop going cheap!

After discounting a 996 one I had found, I have found a 997 top, in basalt black and negotiated for £500

How can I tell when I get there that it is indeed the 997 version?

Also, after speaking to OPC hatfield, 997 cabs never came with hardtop mounting brackets as standard so he asked me to check whether mine had them fitted.
I have seen the L shaped tool for tightening a 997 hardtop in the tool kit, which I'm hoping means that my car may have had one in the past...so may have the brackets already there. How do I check where these mounting brackets are there?
Under those 2 oval shaped panels at the back?

Thanks

I think the cabriolet boys must be out driving in this weather [:)]

Yes, I wish I was out there driving in this weather too!

I lifted the plastic holes at the rear and didn't see any mounting points so I assume I don't have the mounting brackets fitted [:(]

Will have to take it at his word that it's a 997 top and not a 996 too....
