Anyone else heard the awesome sound of the new 4 cylinder Macan S

http://www.porsche.com/microsite/macan/uk.aspx?pc=95BAXP1FBExhaust%2f#/article/pag/exhaust-system

Scroll to the right and press the play button, then wonder how on earth they've done it [8D]

(try to avoid the diesel version [:'(])

OK but still a 4 pot. Will never match a six, or twelve, ...or a ten

What's the option code for drums? [:D]

Hmmm... Isn't it supposed to be a V6?

Drat! That's me getting confused with the LMP1 car which IS a 4 cylinder

Award for most factually inaccurate useless post of the day goes to....... [&o]

Well I just realised the link I posted is for 2015 models, so maybe they are still doing an I4 for 2014?

I haven't watched the video yet...

Just to say that I ran a frequency and order anlaysis on the Macan S sound file and it's definitely from the V-6. Sounds OK......for an SUV.!

Looks as though we'll have to wait a while for the V(?)-4.

A cunning ploy, Mr Smith wants to talk about the McCan but within the comfort of the 944 forum. To do so he invents a tenuous link that the vehicles named after the hard core actor brothers has four cylinders. Obviously it does have four cylinders +2. :)
