Those of you who are on the ball, may have noticed that Deb & I have eventually been confirmed as your new joint Cayenne Register Secretaries and will be eagerly assisted by Larry Lawrence in the South.

Eager to hit the ground running, I spoke with the Panamera, Macan & Taycan Register Secretaries and asked their thoughts on a possible joint meet at the British Motor Museum in Gaydon. Of course, they all thought a themed get together was a great idea so I set about creating this event and scheduled it for Sunday 19th November.

Apologies for the mix up with this morning's event communication, but you should receive an updated email soon.

To clarify, this event is scheduled for Sunday 19th November 10.30am -4pm at The British Motor Museum, Banbury Road, Gaydon, Warwickshire CV35 0BJ. The museum is open until 5pm. If using a Sat Nav for directions we recommend you enter the British Motor Museum as a point of interest rather than using the postcode.

If, like us, you’re interested in getting together with other like-minded owners and members at this model specific event, make sure you log your interest. Please note, this is solely to give a much-needed understanding of numbers, you are not purchasing a ticket. Attendees will still be required to pay the museum directly on the day should you wish to gain access, use the facilities or peruse the exhibits. To qualify for discounted entry price, make sure you have your Club membership card with you.

Please see here for more info.

If you are a Cayenne driver and haven't received the event email, please make sure that your profile is updated on the website to include your Cayenne, so you don't miss out on future communications.

Regards

Greg & Deb

Congratulations on becoming the new Register Secretaries Deb & Greg. The event sounds like a great idea!

You spurred me on to add my Cayenne details on my profile of my old but fantastic bus!!

Hopefully see you both at the conference next month.

Yes, we will be there and thanks for your kind words, looking forward to a good old catch up.
Hopefully we can inspire a few more to follow your lead as we strive to create a stronger, more active Cayenne community.

Regards
Greg.

A quick heads-up regarding numbers for this experience. At the last count we were up to 60 vehicles with 112 members planning on attending during the day, so it’s starting to shape up nicely.

Unfortunately, it seems despite us initiating this event the Cayenne Register remains currently bottom in the terms of numbers of those attending, so please don’t delay in registering should you fancy popping along to join the register parking and fun.

Please note you can come and go as you like there’s no pressure to stay all day.

Thank you to everyone who made our first Four Door meet such a great success. By the end of the day, we had what we considered to be a very respectable grand total of 41 four door models join us from various parts of the UK.

At final count our Cayenne total just managed to tip just into the double digits so overall not a bad start or finish to our first register meet as new officials. It was a pleasure meeting and greeting you all, we hope you enjoyed the opportunity as much as we did. It was also good to get some feedback & ideas from our members, we’ll certainly be taking your comments on board.

Finally, special thanks to George & Tom from the Clubhouse, who generously agreed to pop along to support this with flags and banners, unfortunately the gusting wind meant we just couldn’t put on the reception we had hoped to do, but fortunately this certainly didn’t spoil the day. You can check out some of their photos from the day on the clubs social media pages.
