Four wheel alignment

New member
Without having to resort to leafing through the Yellow Pages and picking a number out of the air, does anyone have any experience of, or recommendations for, a four wheel alignment/geometry specialist in the Edinburgh area?
Just want to ensure that everything is pointing in the right direction before I tackle Knockhill!! [8D]

Cheers Lawrie. [:)]
Had thought about asking Brian, to be honest, as the car is going in for new belts on friday. If he recommends them, that's good enough for me.
Thanks again.

derek try cairnlee 0141 445 3322 i took the 993 there phone for a quote regards brian wood ro 01

Good idea to get the geometery checked BUT do give Glenvarigall a call and tell them it's an older car ( for cheaper rate) and check their quote, remember they have all the correct data to set your car up to factory spec ( and track spec if reqd).
But stay off the kerbs at Knockhill or all your careful adjustments will be way out at the end of the day.

Thanks for the advice Mike.
On the basis that I will be trying to clip as many kerbs as possible, at Knockhill [8D], I may well leave the alignment/geometry set up until afterwards and enjoy my car more on the road. [:)]

Well, all you have to do is politely pull aside, when I flash my lights to show that I want past you!!! [;)]

remember they have all the correct data to set your car up to factory spec ( and track spec if reqd).

the factory spec is in the handbook.

For track/road compromise I run more negative camber front and rear.

I also run extra castor to minimise tramlining as I run 17inch wheels
