Shame I'm not nearer, otherwise I'd certainly be up for wielding a spanner. Trouble is that London to Cornwall is a bit of a slog.

A pity ... summer weekends with friendly types tinking with a project car, drinking beer and eating instant-type food are one of my favourite things. Rob - what's up with your 944 that you need a hand with?

The force is strong in you young jedi`s.......your parrell universe does exist through the Tamar dream gate to my world, M4, M5 A30 " such riches do await you if you can make the journey...... like the titanic turning round to have another go at the iceberg... i didn`t stand a chance with "free beer and food" did i........... i think the "pack your spanners" was to large a clue........ps the above route by passes the Tamar bridge by the way but it sounded good so i put it in..................
 
I suppose a little info is required,, My torque tube will be returned in the next few weeks, we will work as an when the mood takes us and knock off is 3oclock fire up the barbie, new nuts and bolts have been purchased to replace the unusable rusty ones, cool bottles of beer to wash down food, many of the components associated with the torque tubes removal have been cleaned and painted, my missus will be away on holiday with her mum, my beer fridge is wired to my fire alarm for an early indication of low level, my garage is clean and ready for use, i have no kids, i cant lift the gearbox on my own, the FA cup final is on the saturday while she is away, and the suspension is a struggle to get back in by myself, and a little re-assurance from guys with simular stories will re-instate why the hell i put myself in this position in the first place "did i mention free beer and food" 18th may .....!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ps i am a Londoner myself, i come from Plaistow/ Canning Town just of the A13.. i love it here.....
